VICE-CHANCELLOR INSPECTS PREPARATIONS AT THE UUM IEH OUTREACH VACCINATION CENTRE

UUM ONLINE: The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dato’ Dr Ahmad Bashawir Abdul Ghani recently inspected preparations of the Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) Institution of Higher Education (IHE) Outreach Vaccination Centre.

The inspection was conducted with health officers from the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) District of Kubang Pasu to ensure the smooth operation of the UUM IEH Outreach Vaccination Centre the following day.

The UUM IEH Outreach Vaccination Centre will be open for three days beginning on 7 followed by 13 and 14 August at the Mu’adzam Shah Hall, UUM.

An estimated 2,500 doses of vaccine will be administered daily to locals in the Kubang Pasu district, and the launch of the UUM IEH Outreach Vaccination Centre is expected to contribute to the government's attempts to attain herd immunity throughout the country promptly.

Officials from the University Health Centre, Development and Maintenance Department, UUMIT, Registrar's Department, and the Chancellery also participated in the inspection.
