UUM College of Law, Government and International Studies (COLGIS) is a place for people who strive to make a difference in the world; who are fascinated by the power of government and its influence on policy reforms, who pursue the legal profession’s service to society, who want to explore events unfolding around the world, and who aspire to become involved in hospitality and environmental issues. Our full-time faculty members bring to the college a depth and range of experience unmatched by any other institutions, and offer various courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Established in 2008, UUM COLGIS continues its great tradition in its commitment to critical analysis – of government, law, international affairs and business, development studies, and tourism and hospitality. Curricular innovations continue to take place to keep pace with rapidly evolving political, legal, economic, and technological developments. UUM COLGIS is deepening advanced programmes of study in public management, law, international affairs, international business, and urban planning; cross-university initiatives including joint degree programmes; and study abroad opportunities.

Our alumni include leaders in all branches and all level of government, in academia, in media, in for-profit companies and nonprofit organisations domestically and around the globe. The alumni networks in every region of the world serve as an invaluable resource in mentoring students and offering networks of colleagueship and friendship among graduates.
