The Islamic Centre provides guidance and spiritual advice through various activities and programmes at the university and regional levels to enhance understanding and appreciation of Islam.

The Islamic Centre is also working with various agencies and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) such as the Islamic Development Department of Malaysia (JAKIM), the Malaysian Institute of Islamic Understanding (IKIM), the Kedah Islamic Religious Council (MAIK), Yayasan Islamiah Malaysia Foundation (YADIM) and PERKIM.
