Awang Had Salleh Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (AHSGS) provides an access to world-class resources across a wide range of disciplines. The variety of those disciplines are translated into industry-ready skills, hence becoming a competitive edge for graduates. Our programs are carried out in collaboration with the School of Computing, School of Education and Modern Languages, School of Quantitative Science, School of Multimedia Technology and Communication, School of Applied Psychology, Social Work and Policy, School of Languages, Civilization and Philosophy and School of Creative Industry Management and Performing Arts. Each school provides specialized programs according to the fields that are in line with the market demand and the needs of the students.

As the heart of the efforts to develop the human capital that will be able to accelerate the development of the country in the future, AHSGS will continue to help enhance graduates’ potential. The main objective of AHSGS is to offer programs that emphasize experiential learning in theory and practical, develop critical and creative thinking skills, leadership and communication skills and lifelong learning in order to produce holistic and balanced individuals.

Through its world-class academic programmes, in-depth research, high-impact publications and innovative consultations on solutions to various issues, AHSGS hopes to encourage and enable its graduates to adapt to the fast-changing and flexibility of the world environment. Undoubtedly, our programmes are approved by the Malaysia Qualifications Agency (MQA) and the Ministry of Education, Malaysia.
