UUM RETAINS ITS POSITION IN THE WORLD UNIVERSITY RANKINGS 2022 AT 601-800 BAND, THIRD IN MALAYSIA

UUM ONLINE: Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) retained its place in the 601-800 band in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2022, announced today.

The position also placed UUM as the third top university in Malaysia, the same as last year.

THE World University Rankings examined five primary indicators namely teaching (30%), research (30%), citations (30%), international outlook (7.5%), and industry income (2.5 %).

The results announced this time saw a total of 1662 universities from 99 countries throughout the world listed in THE World University Rankings 2022.

In fact, Malaysia alone had an increase of 18 universities that were successfully ranked in the world ranking.
