UUM ALUMNUS RECEIVES FIRST CLASS EXCELLENT GRADUATE AWARD FROM NEGERI SEMBILAN STATE GOVERNMENT

WhatsApp Image 2022 12 15 at 3.01.53 PMUUM ONLINE: Seremban - The success of Bachelor of Business Administration (Logistics and Transport) graduate, Mr.  Avaraajaeyankavein s/o Avadayan who graduated with first class honours enabled the Negeri Sembilan native to be chosen to receive the Negeri Sembilan First Class Outstanding Graduate Award at Klana Resort, recently.

With the award, Mr. Avaraajaeyankavein who is now a UUM alumni took home RM5,000 in cash which was presented by the Menteri Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Dato' Seri Aminuddin Harun at the Negeri Sembilan First Class Outstanding Graduate Award Presentation Ceremony.

Mr. Avaraajaeyankavein was one of 150 students from institutions of higher learning (IHL) who were recognised for their outstanding achievements.

According to the Menteri Besar of Negeri Sembilan, the appreciation prize was awarded to IHL students from the state's natives who achieved excellent first-class results, with a total allocation of RM878,400.

He also stated that eight claimants had their education loans totaling RM128,400 written off.

"This award is very significant especially in giving recognition to graduates as well as encouragement to students who are studying at IHL to study hard.

"The state government is committed to appreciating and recognising the community's excellent work culture, particularly among university students," he said.

Dato' Seri Aminuddin Harun expressed hope that by awarding the prize, it would encourage IHL students to continue working hard in order to commit to high-quality studies and an excellence culture.

He also expressed confidence that rather than just an incentive or recognition, the award would become a driving force and make students leader of positive change, cultivating excellence in life.
