TISSA-UUM CONTINUES TO LEAD ON THE INTERNATIONAL STAGE

UUM ONLINE: The Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz School of Accounting (TISSA) has received a certificate of recognition for its success in being listed at 201-250 for Business and Economics subjects in Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings by Subject 2022 and for being re-accredited by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Prof. Dr. Haim Hilman Abdullah who is performing the duties of Vice-Chancellor, recently presented the Dean of TISSA, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rose Shamsiah Samsudin, with the Top 100 QS World University Rankings 2022 - Asia certificate at the TISSA Meeting Room.

Prof. Dr. Haim Hilman congratulated the entire TISSA community on their dedication to the university that led to this success.

Meanwhile, Dr. Rose Shamsiah expressed her pride and delight at the achievement attained by TISSA, which was meaningful the staff at TISSA especially when everyone was struggling to operate, carry out their respective trusts and responsibilities during the pandemic.

According to her, the awarding of the certificate demonstrated that, in general, UUM and TISSA were able to overcome the major challenge by maintaining a high ranking and obtaining EFMD accreditation from the European accreditation body for the second time for the next three years.
