Registration Of New Postgraduate Students At AHSGS

REGISTRATION OF NEW POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS AT AHSGS
Registration of the new postgraduate students at Awang Had Salleh Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (AHSGS) for the second trimester for the 2018/2019 academic session was held at the foyer of the School of Computing (SOC) Hall from 9.00 am to 11.30 am recently.
 
The new semester recorded the enrolment of 63 new postgraduate students comprising 47 students being admitted into the Master programme and 16 students into the Doctoral programme for the various programmes offered by the seven Schools under the auspices of UUM CAS.
 
The AHSGS offered 139 places to successful applicants who managed to continue their studies at the postgraduate levels for second trimester of the 2018/2019 academic session.
 
Prof. Dr. Ku Ruhana Ku Mahamud, the Dean of AHSGS welcomed the new students and expressed her appreciation and gratitude to all students for choosing UUM as their knowledge destination in pursuit of their postgraduate studies.
 
She also expressed her desire to see that students utilize the opportunities available as best possible so as to ensure that they can graduate within the stipulated time.
 
A general academic briefing session was delivered by the Deputy Dean of AHSGS, Dr. Nur Haryani Zakaria and later the new students were briefed by the respective coordinators of each school under the auspices of UUM CAS.
