"UUM as an institution should have a direction that will enable UUM become the Eminent Management University not only in Malaysia but in Asia but without the new input from our young lecturers we may be irrelevant.

"How do we raise to the occasion? Do research related to the industry but most often the industry comment that research done by universities is irrelevant to them.

"We spend a lot of time on academics but we forget how many people are reading our research papers, so we need to produce research that can be applied by both the society and industry," he added.
