IACE2021 SUBMITTED FIVE THEMES OF BOOK OF CHAPTERS TO UUM PRESS

WhatsApp Image 2022 09 06 at 10.24.06 AMUUM ONLINE: The 5th Innovation and Analytics Conference & Exhibition (IACE2021) successfully submitted five themes of book chapters to UUM Press, recently. A hi-tea was organized to officially submit the book chapters to UUM Press and honour the committee efforts in organizing IACE 2021 in November last year.

UUM Press representatives who attended the ceremony were the Deputy Director, Rosma Ishak, and officers from the printing and book sections, Kashfi Wahab, Azizan Ismail and Siti Nur Dina Johary. 

The five themes of book chapters submitted, including Transformative learning in STEM Education, Recent Trends in Decision Making, Understanding Pandemic Challenges: Data-Driven and Computational Approaches, Accelerating Global Sustainability Initiatives through Data Analytics and Quantitative Models for Decision Making. 

The contributors come from both local and international universities and institutes incorporating Universiti Utara Malaysia, Universiti Malaya (UUM), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn (UTHM), Employees Provident Fund of Malaysia (EPF), Sokoto State University Nigeria, Herriot-Watt University Malaysia, University of Santo Tomas Philippines, Istanbul University, Apparatus of Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Iraq, The Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) Regional Centre for Education in Science and Mathematics (RECSAM), ISEAS- Yusof Ishak Institute Singapore, Almutamaizeen Secondary School Bangladesh and Universitas Islam Indonesia Yogyakarta.

The Chairperson of IACE2021, Prof. Dr Haslinda Ibrahim, expressed her sincere gratitude and appreciation to the whole organizing team for making this event a success in every way and also emphasized the strategy for finishing the book chapters, which involved designating all the committee as the book chapter editors. With the inspiring words, "... Let's take your laptop, start writing, and see how creative you are," she concluded her address.

The closing ceremony was commemorated by the speech from the Dean of School of Quantitative Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Dr Mohd Kamal Mohd Nawawi.
