AXIATA YOUNG CEO DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME REGIONAL BUSINESS CHALLENGE OPENS UP OPPORTUNITIES TO HELP COMMUNITIES IN KEDAH

AXIATA CEOUUM ONLINE: The Lambda team from the Axiata Young CEO Development Programme Cohort 4 finished second in the finals of Regional Business Challenge, earning MYR8,000 in cash.

The Axiata Young CEO Development Programme Cohort 4 included representatives from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) as well as the ENACTUS Unit Coordinator at the UUM Cooperative and Entrepreneurship Development Institute (CEDI), Ms. Fatin Athirah Fadzillah, who is also an academic staff member at the UUM School of Language, Civilization, and Philosophy (SLCP).

This group of young Malaysian professionals aged 25 to 30 successfully completed the solarization and sustainability challenges near the edotco telecommunication tower in Asun, Kubang Pasu, as the final challenge of the community sustainability programme.

Young professionals from Shell Malaysia, HSBC Amanah, Tenaga Nasional, UUM, Ministry of Finance Malaysia, QS Enrolment Solutions, Celcom, Boost, and others expressed their delight at being able to submit a community sustainability development action plan while simultaneously presenting the impact report of their pilot project to edotco.

The Axiata Young CEO Development Programme is a two-year leadership development programme for young Malaysian professionals sponsored entirely by the Axiata Foundation and valued at MYR50,000 per participant.

The programme also gives participants the opportunity to master the critical skills and knowledge required to shape the character of a future Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

The participants of the Axiata Young CEO Development Programme Cohort 4 completed the entire module provided by the Axiata Foundation.

Dato' Izzaddin Idris, Group Managing Director/President and Chief Executive Officer of Axiata Group Berhad, officiated the online graduation ceremony, which was also attended by senior officials from Axiata Foundation and edotco ASEAN (Malaysia, Philippines and Bangladesh).
