A Visit From The Delegates Of Dankook University, South Korea

A VISIT FROM THE DELEGATES OF DANKOOK UNIVERSITY SOUTH KOREA

A delegation from Dankook University, South Korea paid UUM Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dr Ahmad Bashawir Abdul Ghani a courtesy visit at the Visitors’ Lounge recently.

The Vice-Chancellor welcomed the arrival of the Manager of Global Education Team Manager, Office of the International Affairs, Mr Kim Sun Ho.  He also spent time sharing information and the latest accomplishments attained by UUM.

Mr Kim Sun Ho expressed his heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to UUM for its warm welcome and willingness to establish academic cooperation.

According to the Director of the Centre for International Affairs and Cooperation (CIAC), Assoc. Prof Dr Mohamad Farizal Rajemi said the visit was aimed at exploring the possibility of establishing Korean Language Centre at UUM.

He said the meeting was expected to establish closer ties whilst exchanging ideas.

Earlier, the delegates dropped by the Welcome Centre and had the opportunity to take a tour of UUM as well as U-Assist before settling down for a discussion with CIAC officers at the CIAC Meeting Room.

Among the matters discussed at the meeting included opportunities to pursue a double degree in International Business and Korean Studies; internship for Dankook students at UUM and the Special External Semester Mobility Programme.
