BISCUUM ONLINE: In an effort to attract university students in the field of investment, Bursa Malaysia will organize the Bursa Inter-Varsity Stock Challenge 2022 (BISC) for three months, from August 1st to October 31st, 2022.

In his speech, Haim Hilman mentioned that BISC, a stock trading competition for a period of three months, was designed to attract university students to use trading strategies in building investment portfolios with high returns.

He said the mentor will provide access to all the related research and analytical reports, as well as train the team on trading strategies.

“Wisely utilise these benefits to learn more about the stock market from experts as this is a rare opportunity to get in-person guidance from a broker to prepare the participants about the world of investment.

“If you want to be ‘extraordinary’, you don't have to come from an ‘extraordinary’ family, but your attitude determines your future. Thus, make this competition as a significant platform to generate knowledge and makes sure you do more and exceed other’s expectations,” he said.

Haim Hilman added that the competition provides an opportunity for the participants, especially UUM students, to learn in advance about stocks and investments before entering the world of the industry.

He said, from the competition, participants will be exposed to a simulated trading environment in ‘real-time’ to test their skills, thus they must do their best despite the hardships and challenges they will face.

At the same time, he intends to further enhance the strategic collaboration with the industry partners to a higher level towards nation-building.
