According to Prof. Dr Shahimi Mohtar, having a dual degree from a local university and an international university can further increase the marketability and value of graduates.

The implementation of this Dual Degree programme will give students added value in terms of recognition and marketability, in addition to improving the quality of undergraduate degree programmes offered by both UUM and MBS.

"The graduates produced are capable of meeting the needs of the workforce not only on the local level, but also on the global level. In general, enrolling in a dual degree programme can provide students with access to numerous opportunities for professional networking that can be of use to graduates throughout the course of their careers.

"By taking advantage of this opportunity, graduates can expand their network, learn from industry leaders, and improve their job prospects," he said at the UUM-MBS Memorandum of Agreement Signing Ceremony.

He explained that the goal of the collaboration between UUM and MBS is to establish a structure for student exchange programmes at the undergraduate level that contribute to the promotion of all-around student development.
