UUM ONLINE: The parents and guardians who accompanied their children to register for the new academic session 2016/2017 at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), attended a briefing given by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dato' Seri Dr. Mohamed Mustafa Ishak at Mu'adzam Shah Hall, immediately after the registration session in the morning.
During the briefing session, parents and guardians were given an overview of UUM including the vision and mission of the university which is to be an Eminent Management University. They were also given the update on the new students’ enrolment statistics, the infrastructure available in the university, student activities and UUM achievements to date.
Dato' Seri Vice-Chancellor also expressed his sincere hope that parents and guardians can play their part by monitoring the academic progress of their children, and stay updated on the development of the university and their children.
The university top management officers were also introduced to the parents and guardians during the briefing session. In addition, a Q&A session was also held after the briefing.
