The delegation which was headed by Prof. Dr. Lee Yong Ki, Professor of Marketing, Sejong University cum the President of The Korean Society for Franchise Management also included Mr. Lee Sung Hoon, Director of the MBA Franchise, Graduate School of Business, Sejong University cum the Executive Secretary Officer, The Korean Society for Franchise Management; Mr. Lee Young Chai, General Manager, Jihofood Co. cum Board Member, The Korean Franchise Association; Mr. Kim Il Kwon, Chief Executive Officer, MegaFC Co. and Mr. Lee Hye Joo, Chief Executive Officer, Food-doctor Co.
During the seminar, participants had the opportunity to attend two sessions conducted by Prof. Dr. Lee Yong Ki, with the first session entitled the Korean Franchise Industry: Development, Issues and Challenges, followed by the second session entitled Managing Franchisor-Franchise Conflict.
The seminar not only attracted the participation of UUM postgraduate students majoring in entrepreneurship and franchising but also UUM lecturers and members of the public who are interested in the franchise sector.
In addition, a discussion amongst the delegation of Sejong University, UUM representatives and representatives of the Malaysia Franchise Association (MFA) is set to be held to discuss possible collaborations in the field of franchising as well as in offering MBA (Franchise) programme and collaborative research.
Among the attendees at the seminar were Dean of OYAGSB, Prof. Dr Noor Azizi Ismail; MFA Senior Manager, Mr. Mohd. Faizal Abd. Latip and UUM officials.
Earlier, the delegation attended the UUM 1436H/2015 Silaturahim Aidilfitri Celebrations at the Perdana Square.
