The three-day carnival was jointly organised by the Sports Division of Higher Education Sector of Ministry of Education (MoE) Malaysia and UUM aimed at providing early exposure and finding new talents in motorsports activities among students in Public Universities (UA).
Also present were UUM Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dato’ Wira Dr. Mohamed Mustafa Ishak and Secretary of Sports Division (Higher Education Sector) of MoE, Mr. Hazally Jali.
To make the event merrier, there were side shows which included a special go-kart racing clinic, series of motorcycle riding safety demonstration by the Kedah Riders Club, car audio system competition and exhibition featuring superbikes.
This time around, leading the Go-Kart of UA (Male category) was youngster Zainul Ariffin from UUM with the best time of 10 minutes and 20 seconds in eight rounds.
Meanwhile, Wan Aqilah Mohammad Hatt represented Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia (IIUM) piloted the Go-Kart of UA (Female category) with the best time of 8 minutes and 32 seconds in six rounds.
As for the Cub Prix (Open category), Luth Harith Erwan emerged champion with his best time of 14 minutes and 7 seconds.
UUM Vice-Chancellor presented the prizes to all the winners during the closing ceremony.
